Description

Wasabi coleus (Coleus scutellarioides, formerly Solenostemon scutellarioides) features vivid lime-green, serrated leaves and vigorous growth. It is an excellent foliage accent for mixed containers and shaded garden beds, reaching roughly 18–36 inches tall and 24–28 inches wide under favorable conditions. In Alabama, provide morning sun or partial shade and shelter from strong afternoon sun. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil, water regularly during summer heat, and pinch growing tips for bushiness. Remove flower spikes if you prefer a leafy display. Treat as frost tender.
