The Amarillo Gold is a captivating plant known for its large, daisy-like flowers, featuring vibrant golden-yellow petals encircling a prominent green center. This plant blooms from summer to fall and attracts bees, birds, butterflies and other pollinators, making it perfect for mixed borders, cutting gardens or as accent plants. At maturity this plant can grow to measure 1 to 2 feet tall and wide. It prefers loamy, well-drained moist soil, full to partial sun exposure, and average watering. Removing spent stems blooms can be done to encourage extended blooming. The Amarillo Gold is drought resilient and is suitable for hardiness zones 3 to 8.
