Description
Lucky White lantana bears rounded clusters of small white flowers with sunny yellow centers above fresh green foliage. The compact, bushy plant brings a bright accent to containers, small gardens, and sunny borders, typically reaching about 1–2 feet tall and wide under favorable conditions.
Growing in Alabama and the Southeast
Grow in full sun and soil that drains freely. In Alabama, plant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Water consistently while roots develop, then allow the top of the soil to dry between deep waterings. Avoid waterlogged pots and crowded planting, particularly in humid summer weather. Feed lightly if growth slows, but avoid excessive nitrogen. The flower clusters attract butterflies and other pollinators during the warm months. Expect frost damage in cold winters; it is often grown as a seasonal annual.
