Description
Lucky Sunrise Rose lantana has rounded clusters of orange and rosy-pink tubular flowers over green leaves. Its bushy, mounding form adds cheerful color to containers, edging, and butterfly gardens from late spring through fall. Depending on conditions, plants can reach roughly 1–2 feet tall and wide.
Growing in Alabama and the Southeast
Plant after the last spring frost in a spot with full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly until established, then water deeply as needed rather than keeping the soil constantly wet. In Alabama’s hot, humid summers, good drainage and air movement are important. A light feeding during active growth is enough; too much fertilizer may reduce blooming. Lantana flowers are attractive to butterflies and bees. Protect from freezing temperatures or enjoy as a warm-season annual in colder areas.
