Description

Agave schidigera. Native to North America Royal Flush is a slow growing succulent that forms a rosette of green leaves outlined in what appears as many tiny white hairs. At maturity these succulents can reach up to 1′ (30cm) in height and 2′ (60cm) in diameter bearing dangerous spines. Although it can take 10-15 years, once mature the rosette produces a towering stalk that can grow to 10′ (3m) tall and is topped with a yellow and green-ish bloom, then dies with the bloom. The Royal Flush plant grows to fill the pot or ground space given but typically does not outgrow it. This plant needs well-draining soil, adequate sunlight daily, and proper watering to thrive. The hardiness zones of this succulent are 8a-10b.
