Description
Stella Supreme is a reblooming daylily with fragrant, lemon-yellow, triangular flowers. Established clumps generally reach about 1–3 feet tall and spread 2–4 feet. Individual daylily flowers last about one day, but new buds open in succession. Flowering is strongest in late spring and early summer, with additional flushes possible when growing conditions are favorable.
Growing in Alabama: Plant in full sun to light afternoon shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Water deeply while roots establish and during prolonged summer dry spells; mulch to conserve moisture without covering the crown. Remove spent flower stalks and divide crowded clumps every three to four years. Summer heat can interrupt rebloom, so do not expect uninterrupted flowers until frost.
