Description
The Mojito is cultivated mainly for its remarkable foliage, characterized by strikingly large vibrant green leaves that are decorated with splotches of rich purple. At maturity this plant can grow to measure about 3-5 feet tall and 2-4 feet wide. The ideal growing conditions consist of nutrient rich well-draining soil, in some sun and shade, with adequate watering. The soil should be kept moist, but not waterlogged, and should not be allowed to dry out completely to prevent wilting and discoloration of the leaves. The hardiness zones of the Mojito are 7b to 10b. The characteristics of this plant make it perfect for container planting or landscaping.
