Cherokee Purple is a slicer Tomato. Low acid. Indeterminate. This heirloom is rumored to have come from the Cherokee Native Americans around the turn of the 20th century. Large, dark purple fruit with brick-red flesh and a rich, full flavor. 80-85 days. Average fruit size: 10-12 oz. Disease Tolerance: heirloom varieties do not exhibit known disease tolerance.
