Indigo Rose is an indeterminate tomato that produces clusters of small, flavorful fruits, usually about 1–2 ounces each. Sun-exposed shoulders develop deep purple to nearly black pigment, while the shaded portions turn red as the tomatoes ripen. The purple coloring comes from naturally occurring anthocyanin pigments. Expect roughly 75–80 days to harvest in favorable conditions. For best flavor, wait until the non-purple areas have turned red and the fruit has softened slightly.
