Description

Cannova Mango canna brightens warm-season plantings with soft mango-to-salmon flowers held above broad, tropical-looking foliage. Its full, upright growth adds height and texture to sunny borders and patio containers.

Growing Cannova Mango

Plant in full sun in fertile soil that stays evenly moist without becoming stagnant. Water deeply during Alabama’s summer dry spells, especially when grown in pots. A light feeding during the growing season supports vigorous foliage and flower production. Remove spent bloom stalks to maintain a neat appearance.

Size: About 2–4 feet tall and 1–2 feet wide. Season: Flowers during warm weather until frost. In much of Alabama, a sheltered planting and mulch may help protect rhizomes in winter; lift and store them if severe freezing is expected.
