Description

The Blue Angel Hosta boasts substantial, powdery blue-green leaves and when in bloom near-white blossoms stand above the luscious foliage and emerge in mid to late summer. This Hosta thrives clay loam soil with medium water and little to no sun, as exposure to sun can cause the leaves to scorch. On the larger side, at maturity these plants can measure up to 4′ tall and a broad 6′ wide. Ideal for containers, tubs or shaded landscapes Blue Angel Hosta attracts hummingbirds and pollinators, enhancing any garden. They go completely dormant in the fall, and the dying foliage can be removed at any time before mid-spring. They can be easily divided in either spring or fall, although the plants can be left undisturbed for years. The hardiness zones of the Blue Angel Hosta are from 3 to 8.
