Description
Summer Wave Bouquet Gold is a compact, mounding torenia (wishbone flower) with golden-yellow flowers with purple throats. It typically grows about 10–12 inches tall and spreads 12–20 inches, bringing warm-season color to shaded hanging baskets, patio containers, and garden edges.
Growing in Alabama: Plant after the danger of frost in bright shade or morning sun, protected from harsh afternoon heat. Use fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained potting mix. Keep soil evenly moist through hot weather without leaving roots in standing water; light feeding helps sustain blooms. Allow airflow in humid conditions. Torenia is frost tender and is normally grown as an annual in Alabama.
