Mangave, Black Magic

Description

The Black Magic Mangave features a rosette-like growth of dark green and rich purple foliage lined with small tooth-like spines that give this succulent a serrated look.  This variety typically reaches a mature size of about 2 feet in height and 4 feet in width. It thrives in large terracotta pots or planted in the ground and can live either indoors or outdoors, provided the conditions are ideal—well-draining sandy soil, a location that receives bright sunlight for at least 8 hours of the day, and a watering schedule that is regular during the summer and sparce in the winter. The Black Magic Mangave is drought-tolerant with hardiness zones being 9b-12.
