Description

The Forever Red Heuchera is a robust plant that is mainly grown for its luscious foliage that maintains its vibrant red color year-round. In late summer to early fall, small thin clusters of tiny white blooms tower above the dense foliage and are attractive to pollinators. At maturity this plant can grow to measure about 6 inches to 2 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide. The ideal growing conditions of the Forever Red are moist well-draining loamy soil, with partial to full sunlight, and adequate watering, letting the top layer of soil dry out between waterings. For optimal productivity, dividing the plant every few years is recommended, along with propagation by division and removing old foliage in the fall. The Forever Red has hardiness zones from 4 to 9.
