Description
Agave xylonacantha. The Frostbite variety of the Century Plant presents a green leaf with a white-yellow margin outlined with orangeish-red spines that give the plant a serrated appearance. At maturity this slow growing plant can reach heights of 6-12′ (1.8-3.6m) tall with a spread of 6-10′ (1.8-3m) wide. This plant thrives in well-draining gritty soil, with occasional watering, and mostly full sun to light shade. The hardiness zones of the Frostbite succulent are 8a-10b.
