Growing Cabaret Red
Grow in full sun in a light potting mix with reliable drainage. Water thoroughly once the upper layer begins to dry, then let the pot drain. In Alabama summers, hanging baskets may dry quickly, so check moisture rather than following a rigid watering schedule. Feed regularly while plants are blooming and maintain a slightly acidic root zone to help prevent nutrient deficiencies. A gentle trim can encourage fresh, bushier growth if stems become straggly.
Habit: Mounding to trailing, usually about 6–10 inches tall. Uses: Sunny baskets, window boxes, and mixed containers. Treat as frost-tender outdoors.
