Description
Big Green Leaf White begonia brings crisp white blooms and lush green leaves to warm-season gardens. The clean flower color is especially useful for brightening shaded beds or pairing with stronger colors in mixed containers.
Growing in Alabama
Provide rich, well-drained soil and consistent moisture, particularly while plants are getting established. This heat-tolerant begonia accepts sun or shade, but some afternoon shade can be beneficial in the strongest Alabama summer sun. Keep containers draining freely and avoid leaving the roots in standing water.
Size: Approximately 12–15 inches tall with a 15–18-inch spread. Best uses: Beds, large containers, and baskets. Grow as a frost-tender seasonal plant where winter freezes occur.
