Description
Violet Beacon impatiens feature luminous pinkish purple blooms, as the name suggests, that persist from summer until the first frost. These striking flowers stand out against the lush, deep green foliage and are highly appealing to pollinators, attracting hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies to gardens. Under optimal conditions, the plant reaches a mature height of 14-18 inches and a spread of 12-14 inches. It requires moderate soil moisture and partial to full shade, making it ideal for container mixes, hanging baskets, or as a border plant. It thrives in hardiness zones 9 to 10.
