Description
The Georgia Peach Heuchera is a robust vigorously growing plant with luscious foliage that starts out as a peachy color in the spring that darkens to deeper pink color as the year passes, becoming rosy pink in the summer and a deeper purple pink in the fall. In early to mid-summer, it produces small white flowers that cluster at the ends of tall, sturdy red stems, that are highly attractive to pollinators. At maturity this plant can grow to measure about 1 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide. The ideal growing conditions of the Georgia Peach are moist well-draining sandy soil, with partial sunlight, and adequate watering, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. For optimal productivity, dividing the plant every few years is recommended, along with propagation by division and removing old foliage in the fall.
