Description
Yellow and Red coreopsis is a perennial that grows in a tidy bushy mound of narrow, green foliage that produces flowers from early summer into fall that have vibrant yellow petals with dark red centers. At maturity this plant can grow to measure 1 to 2 feet tall and wide. The ideal growing conditions of this plant are full sunlight, in moist well-draining loamy soil, and adequate watering, letting the top layer of dry out between waterings. For optimal productivity, removing spent foliage in the fall can encourage a productive following season. The hardiness zones of Yellow and Red coreopsis are from 5 to 9.
