Description
Wave Purple petunia spreads into a low carpet of bright green foliage covered in magenta-purple blooms from late spring into fall when conditions are favorable. Its spreading habit suits hanging baskets, edging, and sunny landscape beds, growing about 5–7 inches tall and potentially 3–4 feet across. In Alabama, give at least six hours of sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Water deeply when the surface begins to dry, especially in containers; avoid prolonged soggy conditions during humid weather. Feed regularly during active growth and trim tired stems to encourage fresh blooms. Protect from hard freezes.
