Description
Once mature, the Red Wing Mangave features a rosette-like growth that boasts green at the base with luscious reddish-purples continuing from the middle to end of the foliage, outlined with tiny teeth-like spines. This variety typically reaches a mature size of about 16″ (40cm) tall and 24″ (60cm) wide. It thrives in appropriately sized pots or planted in the ground, provided the conditions are ideal—well-draining sandy soil, a location that receives full sunlight for most of the day, and has a watering schedule that is when needed during the summer and dry in the winter. The Red Wing Mangave is drought-tolerant with hardiness zones being 9-11.
