Description
The Berry Red Arrowhead Plant makes an excellent houseplant, as it boasts foliage with a unique arrowhead shape and intriguing color that is a mix of pink, purple, and green. It is predominantly cultivated for its attractive leaves, as it seldom flowers indoors. This fast-growing species flourishes in medium to bright light, though it should be kept out of direct sunlight. It can reach heights of 3 to 6 feet (0.9–1.8m) with a spread of up to 2 feet (60cm). The soil must be nutrient-rich with excellent drainage—water only when the potting mix is partially dry. During the growing season, this Arrowhead Plant benefits from being fertilized monthly.
