Description

Beacon White impatiens brings bright white flowers and lush green foliage to shaded gardens, creating a fresh, clean look that pairs with almost any other flower color. Beacon impatiens are bred for strong resistance to impatiens downy mildew.

Growing Beacon White Impatiens

Grow in partial to full shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep the root zone evenly moist, especially in containers during Alabama’s hot summer weather. Too much direct afternoon sun can cause stress and fading, while prolonged soggy conditions can harm the roots. Allow some airflow between plants and water near the soil surface when practical. With steady care, plants can bloom through the warm season until frost.

Mature size: Approximately 14–18 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide. Best uses: Shaded borders, hanging baskets, and porch planters; generally treated as an annual where winter freezes occur.
