Description
At maturity the Silver Queen can measure 1-2′ tall and wide broad leaves that show off a variety of dark and light green hues. Preferring low, indirect light makes it most common as an indoor accent in a home or office setting. The plant is primarily valued for its foliage, though it does flower occasionally, producing smally white flowers in the summer to early fall. The Silver Queen thrives in well-draining potting mix, with watering occurring whenever the top inch to two inches of soil is dry, being careful to not overwater as this could cause root rot and be detrimental to the plant. The hardiness zones of the Silver Queen are 10-12 as they are not frost tolerant.
