Description
Tropical White canna produces creamy-white flowers above bold tropical foliage. The original listing gives a broad mature size of roughly 1–5 feet tall and 1–4 feet wide.
Growing in Alabama and the Southeast
Give cannas full sun, rich soil, and consistent moisture during Alabama’s hot growing season, while avoiding stagnant water around rhizomes. Mulch to conserve moisture and remove spent flower stalks for a tidy display. In much of Alabama, established rhizomes may overwinter with mulch in well-drained ground, but container-grown plants and exposed sites need extra freeze protection.
