Description

Tokyo Sun is a clumping, mounding, low growing succulent that presents a show of small bright yellow leaves that get their color from the sun’s rays. During the summer months the plant produces small yellow star shaped blooms. Unlike most succulent the Tokyo Sun plant is winter growing and summer dormant. At maturity this succulent can grow to measure no more than about 8 inches tall and wide. It prefers sandy well-draining soil, in full sun to light shade, and low watering. The nature of this succulent makes it perfect for rock gardens, succulent gardens and mediterranean gardens. The Tokyo Sun succulent is drought and heat tolerant and has hardiness zones from 8 to 10.
