Mangave, Aztec King

Categories: ,

Description

The Aztec King Mangave features a rosette-like growth with silvery-purple foliage edged in small, tooth-like spines. This variety typically reaches a mature size of about 2 feet in height and 4 feet in width. It thrives in large terracotta pots or planted in the ground, provided the conditions are ideal—well-draining sandy soil, a location that receives sunlight for most of the day, and a watering schedule that is regular during the summer and dry in the winter. The Aztec King Mangave is drought-tolerant with hardiness zones being 9-11.
