Description

The White Rabbit Foot fern is an intriguing fern, producing woolly, creeping stems that are decorated with the leaves of the fern. At maturity this plant can grow to measure about 3-36 inches tall and 12-40 inches wide. The ideal growing conditions of this plant consist of well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter, in dappled shade to partial sunlight, with adequate watering. The soil should be kept moist, but not waterlogged, and should never completely dry out to prevent wilting and discoloration of the leaves. The White Rabbit Foot fern prefers an atmosphere with high humidity but can tolerate average humidity. To encourage more growth this plant can benefit from fertilizer, at half strength, once per month during the growing season. The hardiness zones of this plant are 10 to 12.
