Description
Cool Wave White pansy (Viola × wittrockiana) offers bright white flowers with yellow centers above deep green foliage. Its spreading habit lights up winter baskets and mixed containers.
Growing and care
Set out in fall for Alabama’s cool growing season. Grow in sun to partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil. Water as needed to keep roots evenly moist and provide occasional fertilizer while actively growing. Flowering is strongest in cool weather and declines when temperatures rise.
Size and uses: About 6–8 inches tall and 24–30 inches wide; useful for edging, hanging baskets, and combination planters.
