Description

Purple Prince Joseph’s Coat is a spreading upright growing plant that is primarily grown for its royal purple foliage. From fall to winter this plant produces small clusters of small clusters of small white flowers that sit atop its stems. It thrives in well-draining soil, needs full sun, and requires average watering–ensuring the soil stays moist. This plant can benefit from fertilizer every 2 or 3 weeks in the summertime and can be trimmed back during the summer months to keep the plant from getting too leggy. At maturity this plant can grow to measure 6 to 12 inches tall and 12 to 20 inches wide. The hardiness zones of the Purple Prince Joseph’s Coat are 10 to 11.
