Description
Cabaret Golden Yellow calibrachoa adds a cheerful golden-yellow glow to hanging baskets, window boxes, and mixed containers. Its compact, spreading growth and abundance of small, petunia-like flowers provide color through the warm growing season.
Growing Cabaret Golden Yellow
Plant in full sun or a spot with a little afternoon relief during extreme Alabama heat. Use a light, well-draining potting mix and water when the surface begins to dry, without leaving the roots saturated. Regular feeding helps maintain vigorous flowering in containers. Calibrachoa prefers a slightly acidic root zone, so watch for yellowing leaves if your irrigation water or potting mix is alkaline.
Habit: Trailing and mounding, typically around 6–10 inches tall. Uses: Basket edges, porch containers, and colorful mixed plantings. Protect from frost and enjoy as a warm-season annual in most Alabama gardens.
