Growing in Alabama and the Southeast
This heat-loving flowering plant performs well in Alabama summer beds and containers. Plant after nights are warm in full sun to light afternoon shade, using well-drained soil. Water at the base and let the surface dry slightly between waterings; avoid constantly wet roots and overhead irrigation in humid conditions. Space for airflow, fertilize modestly, and protect from frost.
