Description

Senecio cineraria. Silverdust is a bushy perennial or subshrub that consists of dense gray foliage that is covered in lots of tiny hairs which give the lush foliage a velvety texture and appearance. This plant will produce blooms after the first year but are often cut back in order to keep the foliage showy. It thrives in evenly moist well-draining soil, requires full sun, and has average watering needs. At maturity this plant can grow to measure 6 to 18 inches tall and wide. The nature of this plant makes it an ideal choice for beds, containers and different types of gardens. Silverdust has hardiness zones from 8 to 11.
